Misconceptions… Misunderstood… Misrepresented…Lied about !!!!
Don’t you just hate it when someone has completely done these things to you !! I say done to you because regardless of the intentions it still feels like an attack.
So.. we were in a whole group of people when I walked up and heard my wonderful husband stating as fact that I have to shave my FEET !!! I am telling you my hair went up on the back of my neck and I was shocked !!! I have never shaved my feet nor do I need to… I do not have monkey feet like he was describing it.. I stood there for a moment and thought is this a joke and he is pulling my leg and they are playing along..He absolutely would do that… but NO he is continuing with me standing there. Within seconds of me appearing on the scene I got the picture …. he was serious and so were the listeners !!! When V talks people listen… he has that strength and authority and it is just how it is..he has always had that ability even when we were young.. he is like a gentle storm !!
Waiting a moment for the punch line only to find there wasn’t going to be one…. I GOT MAD !! My face changed quickly, voice tone got higher (sign of stress) and I asked him WHAT ?? (in not a super polite manner ) I declared trying to save some semblance of dignity and ready to defend the fact I have never shaved my feet !!!! My thoughts were racing..why on earth would he say that.. why would he do that to me..we don’t lie about each other.. did I make him mad or is he just being an idiot!!! (just my true thoughts at the time, might not be right to think but I did)
I asked him why he would say that only for him to begin to argue with me that I do !! What Are You Talking About abruptly came out of my mouth…as the group are now scanning my feet to look for stubble? He then begins to describe how I file the rough skin off my heels when I get a pedicure……I thought how did that go from there to a public declaration of SHAVED FEET !!! That is what he meant… he didn’t know what to call it so that is how he chose to describe it. Are you serious right now... here is a man who is like a walking bible and so articulate it is ridiculous and he can’t describe a proper pedi ??? And why are you even discussing my grooming habits at all!!
Needless to say after I straightened out the misunderstanding we had a full discussion about this privately and what he is not allowed to share…I thought it went without saying but hey !!! Brilliant, Handsome, Charming as he is he is still just a guy….
After it was all over I remember thinking… what else has he said to people… what else has he so misrepresented and described through his manly view point … there is no telling !!!
There is just no telling what some people think… I have had master liars spend years, time and energy telling anyone who would listen lies about us, our family ,etc… declaring they would ruin us … on and on. You cannot preach like we preach without making some people mad… ( Jesus and the disciples told us this is how it would be … I am all right with that but they always take it to a personal level ) my goodness you just have to breathe and look better than someone who is insecure and hateful and it is on !!!
We have all been misrepresented by accident or on purpose…. we have all been misunderstood …wishing we would have said it like this or that… if I only said it different ,they would understand…lied about (most of the time behind ours backs) only to hear the version that made it all the way back to you.. making you wonder why someone didn’t stop that lie and declare truth on behalf of you.. Let’s face it that bothers all of us !!
Listen, let’s just face the fact that there are those out there that love to make it a life goal to try to destroy others…
People who have to spend time making others appear bad, either by outright lying, exaggerating a truth, or having to hurt people by revealing something about them that was no one else’s business with info that is accurate..these people need to get a life !!!
These are the people who cannot achieve greatness in their own lives, families, careers etc.. They want what you have but are not willing to pay what you did to get it…. So, instead of them paying the price to be better people, they try to destroy the reputation and self esteem of every one who makes their shortcomings apparent !!!!!
Trust me, V and I have had more than our share of people who got jealous and mad …and years later still have us to be the topic of their conversation?? Don’t they have a life?? Obviously not !!
So what do you say to these things… SIMPLE…. Go live your life with joy !!!
You will know them by their fruit !!!
* If you get around someone who has to talk about others like that, identify the kind of person they are and get away from them.. If they are talking about others to you …they are talking about you to others !!! Count on it !!
*Don’t ever believe anything about anyone you did not hear for yourself straight from the person themselves. If you have a question that affects you then ask the person directly or throw the info out as inaccurate. Don’t be the dumping ground for hateful people’s garbage (even if said in a polite voice) If you are willing to repeat something and not willing to qualify the truth with the person who it is about, then you are spineless and probably one of the people folks need to get away from.
*Quit wasting time talking about others or in a group that does.. talk about how you are going to be a better person, help others, and succeed in life. Bless others …. do not curse them !!! It will absolutely come back on you !! You are planting seeds of your own destruction..instead ...think on these things, what so ever is good and honest …if there be any virtue….think on these things!!!!
Since we dealt with the behavior of it all ..what about the result…
You are still the butt end of the situation… Great Revelation !! GET OVER IT !!!
The kind of people who would say it, listen to it, believe it etc… don’t get to matter !!
Live right and well, put God first, treat people with respect and in the end you will find that God Himself defended you and made it right !! It might take a day, years or a lifetime but you can’t fix it anyway… It is a distraction to the goal of a great life….
God will come through for you even if it’s the last thing you hear… Well done you good and faithful servant enter into the joy of the Lord. It will all be worth it !!
and about the others… I would say to hell with them ….but that would be wrong!! Right? Let God sort them out !! DH

I covered Mental Assent now let’s tackle Good Intentions…
As I stated earlier that my time in the secular arena it was all about Mental Assent, but when I taught in the church world it also incorporated the concept of good intentions. Usually this occurs when we make a decision to do something due to our emotions at the time.
I saw a need so ….. I know I should so…..on and on. The problem with this is that we think it is ok to commit to a thing when we feel like it, knowing we should, and later when the emotions are no longer strong and the need is no longer in our immediate view, we change our mind. We don’t say we change our mind we simply never follow through!
We say things to make ourselves feel better about not accomplishing something we know we should do…..The Lord knows my heart…. I would if I could BUT….I guess I still could if you really want me too…on and on, when I hear these statements all I really hear is Blah… Blah… Blah !!
This is prevalent in the church world. There is this strange religious mindset that says you have to forgive me, the Lord forgives me! Using grace as an excuse to come up short as a person is not what God had in mind!
The scripture teaches us …let your Yes be Yes or your No be No!…..what is worse the son who says no and then does it or the son who says yes and then doesn’t. It is clear in the word it is far worse for the son that says he will and does not bother to. These people usually find it gratifying enough just to talk about what they want to do and never accomplish a thing!
Good intentions benefit no one without corresponding actions. Faith without works is dead. The Lord also warns us about being a person who when they look in the mirror see themselves for who they really are but when they walk away from the mirror they quickly forget !!… what that means is there are times when God will move on you in church, home , in the middle of anywhere and you absolutely know what you should do..but then you leave church, get around others whatever.. and you talk yourself out of what is right to again do what is convenient or easy !!!
So how do I change if I am a person who has good intentions and yet never accomplishes them. First, choose well with what you commit to … Those who build a house must first consider the cost of the house to determine if they have enough to finish it … don’t start a thing you have no intention on finishing. Do not make an emotional decision make a qualified one. If I start it will I finish it? If the answer is no than do not start!! If the answer is yes, then make a plan and DO IT!!
Do not give yourself an out or excuse to make yourself feel better about yet another failed attempt at what is right!!
You can change this and become an effective person at everything you put your hand to. Choose you this day!!! Dr. H

As I sought the Lord at the end of last year and the beginning of this year … as always I inquired as to what this year was going to be and asked for the instructions and strategies to achieve our goal for the year! It was quite different than the last several years.. last year in particular he told us it would be a year of restoration and a new order.. and of course it was.. however this year was very different.
He told us to run where we used to walk and the velocity we create he would use, and that which we start in our flesh He would lift and finish in His Spirit..
He said that what we do in the first quarter of this year would determine how He was able to multiply us by the end of the year!
He also showed me an equation… with His Vision … a multiplication sign X … and then our implementation on the right ! He said what ever we are willing to implement of the vision this year He would multiply! The implementation on the right side is significant… the right always means .. strength and direction!
Just a side note… In algebra we know that the symbols on the left is called a coefficient and right of the equation is called a constant… the symbol in the middle of the equation ie… X + - is called the variable… and the combination of the 3 is called the expression.. How fitting, it is the same with God.. His Vision and our implementation should be constant… consistency is what will determine which symbol the variable will be… consistency in His will multiply… God is a multiplying God. So when we are consistent with His Vision and our Implementation the result will be His multiplication and the whole equation will be an expression of His Will !!! Too Cool.
So what He was saying is that He will not only multiply our implementation of His vision but will give us the strength and direction to bring it to pass!!!
In saying all that I was praying this morning about what it takes for people to … Run where they used to walk… with great emphasis on the first quarter and with apparently urgency and no delay… so He can lift and multiply our efforts! As I was in prayer I thought of one of my favorite poems! Sometimes we just need to shake ourselves out of our routines and rhythms we have created to do a new thing that God needs NOW!
So I just thought I would post it for all who might need to be encouraged.

Many times in life when we have been through a lot, we rehearse our wounds and scars over and over wondering where we went wrong for these things to happen to us… I have a different mind on that !!
I don’t think you’re worth nothing til you been through something.
Coddled and protected people might appear to have something the rest of us don’t.. but I would not want to be a person who can only survive feeding off of what others have paid to obtain then living in the fear of losing it since you did not get it for yourself the first time.
When Vernon and I were first married we were very young. Actually we got married the day after my 16th birthday. We were so in love and got our place together … they called a cottage!!! It was a 1 car free standing garage turned into an apartment!!
All we heard was we would never make it… over and over. Now, granted I don’t agree with people that young getting married but if you knew our lives you would understand why God brought Vernon in my life so young. (more about that as I write in time)
I was 16 and Vernon was almost 18 and the odds were stacked against us for sure. Especially since neither of us served God. When I left my mom’s house she sent me out with a platter for thanksgiving, a waffle iron (which by the way still makes the best waffles in the world !!) and of course my personal belongs. Which was not much !!
Within a year or two of us getting married most of our friends did also. ( Not much to do in the central valley in CA in the 70’s) The other couples had real weddings…ours was in Reno at a chapel with a guy who was 4 foot tall, had to step up 3 steps to see over the podium and spoke like he was about to bust out the tune from the Wizard of Oz … “The lollipop kids.” Truly sounded like he just sucked on helium before we started the ceremony !!! You talk about not the dream wedding !! But we loved each other and it was all OK.
The others had beautiful apartments rented for them by their parents, given cars so they wouldn’t have to worry about payments, and one couple’s parents even completely furnished their apartment!! WHAT.. I got a platter, a waffle iron and a HUG goodbye….. Vernon did have his bed though (i’m just sayin) please notice.. I brought kitchen items and Vernon brought a bed. I guess we all can see what was important.
Granted the Word teaches us that we should be blessed and be able to bless our children.. it actually says have so much you leave an inheritance to your children’s children !!! That is what God wants for us. But that does not mean you hand them everything when they want it. In many ways I thank God for how it all went down… It made us who we are today!! And when others start to splinter in the tough times, and most don’t make it, Vernon and I only get closer, we always remember the worst things we made it through and if we made it through that … we can make it through anything !!
Which takes me back to my story… Within 2 years of the rest of them being married they were either split in the process of divorce or already divorced and moved on to someone else. There we stood, totally in love with 2 kids, making good money at our jobs ( and of course the drug dealing on the side helped !! WHAT..more some other time) and completely in love still. Thank God no longer in our Cottage !!
As time went on and life happened, as it does for everyone, we always pulled together to figure it out and did !! We looked at life as an adventure and as long as we had each other we could do anything… 35 years later we are still that way. When others fall apart in crisis or hard times, we grow closer and stronger !! I give credit to that kind of tenacity and strength to how it all started. No one gave us anything … and to no one do we look to solve anything now. We found in ourselves the ability to endure and overcome…only later to find the living God whom we found was with us the whole time !!!
Quit looking for the easy way in life.. once you have paid for the ability to obtain a thing you will never fear losing it. You won’t need someone to get it for you, you will know where to find it, it will be inside of you. You know how to do it again!!
God does not want us always crying out for a miracle for our lives.. we are supposed to continually walk in the blessings of God and have the creativity of our Father. When God created the earth He revealed Himself as Elohim, which is the Trinity, the God who created !! That God is our God… the creative power of God is within us if Jesus is our Lord !! So add that to our natural abilities He gave us at birth and the life experiences we go through to be able to develop into the person He needs you to be and the level of character to pull it off.
If you are whining because you don’t have something, or complaining someone won’t give you or make it happen for you…SHUT UP life is doing you a favor by allowing you to develop the ability (which only happens out of necessity) to forever be able to pull out from the depths of who you are and create again..and anew!!!
Life and situations cannot steal this kind of strength and character.. others will want it but not want to pay what you paid for it !!
So many times people tell us ..I want that level of anointing in my life, I want that kind of marriage,…on and on. My response is if you do get ready to pay for it !! If you knew what it cost you might reevaluate that statement !!
Great lives are not for whiners or wusses … If you are one STOP IT… Earn your scars and get up again. I hear a lot… how many more times do I have to get up and try again…EASY… when you have it in your hand you are done !!! Not one minute before.
A loser is not someone who does not have yet… it is someone who quit trying !! Our greatness is formed in our seasons of obtaining !!
Go take your mountain.. with the Lord you are well able !!! p.s. no whining!!

I will be reposting some of my older posts…. here is one of my favs !
After almost 30 years of teaching, training, instructing and counseling people of every age and on every level … the title of this segment is an absolute truth. I have personally trained people in the secular , academia and church world.
My first several years in business I found quickly that Mental Assent is an enemy of the finish line… it will cause you not to reach your goal. It disguises itself to the speaker, comes with an agreeable expression and often with body language that says “I understand”, only to later find it went nowhere in the hearer. So as any good trainer, teacher etc., an immediate repositioning occurs as to how you reapproach what was obviously an overlooked lesson and opportunity. Only to later find that some people never really get it!
There are 2 points of thought here:
1) If you are the teacher, trainer etc… do not get discouraged by people who listen and yet never respond with action. It is the old …you can take a horse to water but you can’t make him drink adage. It does not diminish your message or your technique. It is simply what the scripture states by Jesus himself… those who have an ear to hear… hear what the spirit is saying. This is obviously not speaking of an actual ear, it is speaking of the ability to receive what is said, which is validating the truth that some will never listen or truly hear. If some could not hear Him many will not hear you. Just do your part and tell them what they need to give them a opportunity to increase their life. When information is received it is incorporated into the thought process and now will allow new method to solve or redefine a thing. It is now up to them!!
2) If you are the person who sits, listens and readily agrees yet never applies that which is spoken to you…..STOP IT, YOU ARE DRIVING THE REST OF US CRAZY!! This person will complain the rest of their life that nothing ever changes for them. Same issues year after year with no resolve!! (the only people who want to be friends with these people are usually just like them. Those who want to go somewhere and accomplish a thing will find it very difficult to be around these kind of people for any length of time… they will wear you out !!)
Unfortunately some people find their worth in the complaint and some just don’t know how to get out of this vicious cycle.
STOP!! Evaluate what you want different, find out real information on how to make the change, make a plan, AND DO IT!! Make yourself follow through!! One small victory at a time will set a new precedent in your life, and will encourage you to tackle the next thing so your tomorrow will be greater than your yesterday. One thing I would encourage greatly is get a “real friend” who will tell you the truth and hold you accountable to the things you know you need to do!! Someone who possesses the ability and discipline to move forward with their goals. I am talking about a person who will tell you when you look fat in that outfit or you are being a jerk….not the American Idol lying friend who tells someone they are great, only to later appear in the worse of the worst reels on the commercials!!! Much of a persons success in life is who they choose to hang with !!! If they are not what you want to be like… find someone who is. No one can help you with your character past their own.
Mental Assent agrees, admits, but never receives and never goes past the soul into making it an experience !!!
This state of mind affects both secular and church worlds, natural and spiritual walks. I have watched for years the same people talking with absolutely no results or advancement in both realms. In the secular arena it is easier to deal with… there is little attachment to people who wound’t change … I fired them and moved on to people who could. As a minister I always stand hoping they will finally hear. (Although there is a point where I will just be done and move on to someone who will not waste my time… Dr. Vernon however will trouble with them for years !! …can you say Pastor?)
It is so hard to see that God has given us everything to succeed in ife but unfortunately most people won’t pay a price to change a thing. God says about us ..” I wish above all things you prosper and be in health even as your soul prospers.” This is the desire of our Lord but it is our responsibility to renew our minds , acquire information and apply it to change our tomorrow. This kind of information only comes from the Word of God… It has all the lessons to life to succeed in all walks !!! A good pastor will know how to help you get there… Find a church who has the ability to teach you these truths and help take you into your tomorrow.
Supposed success without God is empty … and when your life is done it becomes very evident the purpose you were born was never achieved.. A Life With Him !!
I pray you have an ear to hear and cause your soul to prosper…make it to the finish line !!!

What is a day of thoughtful gestures and romance for some… is a day of reminded loneliness… coupled with excuses & sometime lies… to cover how left out they feel to others.
Reminders everywhere for weeks that THIS DAY … if no other day… but this day .. someone should romantically love you !
I have watched people who did not have a person significant enough to actually be this romantic encounter that day… somehow qualify… as if there was some new revelation of this person or their relationship, that would carry it to the next level.. only to find there was no new revelation .. just the fear of not having someone in that category in their life as the dreaded Valentines Day approaches.
So, standards.. normal ways and timelines now get tossed out… not due to moments with this person that just transcended your last level of relationship… but the all encompassing feeling of doom that was now approaching… the thought of being alone on Valentines.
The thought of ALL of their friends having someone…. just not them. ( because of course we think everyone has the relationship that we desire or we believe the outward displays of others as being the true expression of their private lives..)
Not bad enough, there has to be the added questions from friends and coworkers about what they are going to do that evening.. ergo the lies and coverup statements begin..not wanting to sound like a total loser of some kind… the stories begin or the complete avoidance of any conversation! .. The sending themselves flowers to fool others or just making themselves feel better.. everyone deals differently.
I happen to be one of the ones that actually does have the love of my life with me for the last 36 years! So you wonder why I would write this…
First let me tell you that all those marvelous couples you see and wish you were one… I just want to let you know that MANY of them are not what they appear to be. There have been many times I have sat with a person who would explain in great detail how much they don’t want to be with the person they are with …. how miserable they are and have been for years… how much of a mistake it was to marry them … on and on..!
ALL THAT GLITTERS IS NOT GOLD… THINGS ARE NOT ALWAYS WHAT THEY APPEAR TO BE… ESPECIALLY WHEN YOUR JUDGEMENT IS NEGOTIATED OUT OF A DESPERATION THAT SHOULD NOT EXIST TO BEGIN WITH !
The notion that you have to have someone to be WHOLE or COMPLETE is a LIE… If you think another person is what you are lacking to feel whole or complete it is false !!
It is how those relationships I just spoke of started !!
The first thing you find out after the initial endorphin rush diminishes …. they are not as cute.. smart.. charming etc… as you thought they were. In the light of day and a hormonal balance… there is the reality of the full package or lack of it that this person brings into your life !! The ever optimistic… I can change him starts to permeate the minds of women everywhere.. and the … she is good enough for right now wafting through the minds their male counterpart.
After 30 years of counseling with people and couples….. there is one thing I know.. The notion of another person being their answer is impossible for anyone to measure up to or complete. It is an illusive goal that has somehow been put in the heart of people … that there is another person out there that is made to complete them…
I understand the romantic fantasy that surrounds those thoughts…we seen this in movies and books.. we rewrite the script to include our names. However, a movie script is not real life and we only get to watch until the climactic kiss… then the credits role!
No matter how much they love someone or are loved by someone … there is a place in them that will remain empty… unfulfilled and frustrated !!
They can have techniques of communication down pat… plenty of finances… awesome sex life or anything else covered that they would have deemed a good reason that would justify the void that remains… even if they have all these wonderful things in their relationship … there will be the ongoing conversations of …why it is not enough..why they still feel alone… why they are not fulfilled.. on and on. Usually with one person in the relationship getting the brunt end of why they are letting their partner down somehow. Only for those who are trying .. to incorporate more techniques of what the latest relationship book or tv show has told us… only then to find themselves in a frustrated position of not having anymore to offer… yet it is still not enough!!
The answer is simple… NO ONE CAN COMPLETE YOU OR MAKE YOU WHOLE … and they are not supposed to !!
ONLY THE LORD CAN BE THAT IN OUR LIVES.
Let me explain why…
You are a spirit… you have a soul and you live in a body.
You cannot subvert the spiritual truth and laws that exist and only live in your soul and body. You can do all the soulish and physical things you can think of to be happy and fulfilled…
BUT UNTIL YOU ADDRESS YOUR SPIRIT.. WHICH WAS CREATED BY GOD AND TO HAVE A RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD… The real you will not be or ever truly feel whole!! And this my friend cannot be fulfilled by anyone other than the Lord Himself !
God has put in every person the inherent need for Him… to know we need more … to want to find more.
That is why we seek Him out … with the promise that we will find Him. He is drawing us..calling us… trying to make Himself be known to us.
We however have been taught right out of the true things of God and replaced them with secular humanism… All we need is ourselves and others..!! Then why are almost 60 % of all marriages ending in divorce…
Because we expect a person to fix in us something that only God can do !!
You do not need another person to be whole.. happy…complete or satisfied !! You need to have a relationship with Jesus . When you address the spiritual need in you to be connected to your God.. the whole story changes !!!
HE IS WHAT COMPLETES YOU… MAKES YOU WHOLE….STRONG… COMPLETELY SECURE IN WHO YOU ARE AND YOUR FUTURE…MY GOD YOUR ETERNITY!!
God’s best is not for two broken things to come together in the crazy notion of that making one whole of anything..
GOD COMES IN OUR LIVES.. IF WE LET HIM AND MAKES US INDIVIDUALLY WHAT AND WHO WE WERE BORN TO BE !!…
THERE IS NOTHING GREATER OR EQUAL TO THAT !!!!!
We are then able to have and be part of a relationship-marriage that we now can ADD to one another … now that my friend is how I have gone 36 years of my life!!

The Lord has been this to me for 30 years !! There is no man better than my husband.. he is truly the best man I have ever met.. and he loves me like every woman dreams to be loved… but… I STILL NEED MY LORD!
Let me sum it up like this…..
If you are married or in a relationship.. as a valentine gift to yourself and partner… have a date with the Lord … you will find that the pressure to be someones God is just to much… and the relief of that in a relationship due to the Lord getting His rightful position in your life and heart.. will allow the most wonderful life to be lived between the two of you !!
If you are not in a relationship at the moment… have a date with the Lord !!
Who you will become through time with Him.. will not only change your view on this subject.. but will make you ready for God to be able to add the right one to you !! When He gives a gift it is never broken or the wrong one !!
He will put a love in you that you did not know ever existed and one that no person can give you !
That is why I can say..

To my husband, best friend, best looking 52 year old ever, and the love of my life… Happy Birthday ! …. When I was almost 14 & you were almost 16.. I remember how we used to talk about growing old together !!….. I wouldn’t have traded it for anything !… Growing old with you has been an awesome ride!… from the 50 year old girl who still sits on the back of your motorcycle!
No Comments »So often in life we all look at our daily schedules and all the work …pressure… and stress that our mindsets and lifestyles have produced. We buy things we don’t really need to apply even more pressure on ourselves to be able to pay for what is usually a never ending payment !! Many work at jobs they can’t stand simply to pay for a lifestyle that has no true joy! What is wrong with this picture??
Who has lied to us and told us this is prospering…
Where is our value system and what has happened to the revelation of true joy comes from within… not something we can hock our lives for!
Through the years I have watched some of the best people I knew totally overtaken by the NEED to have MORE ! BUT AT WHAT COST! I have watched good people hock their lives, families, peace, joy…….. the list can go on and on. And for what…. the bigger house that now has no joy because there is no time for family …which is why it was supposedly purchased. Only for the worlds financial system to devalue your prized possession.. to now feel more like a curse and an unbearable weight.. while some will ride out the wave and pray that in the next 5-7 YEARS.. the value may recover… hoping at best… others had to hand in their keys and walk away from what they thought was their safety. Only to find a mountain of debt they still owe on a house they don’t even live in !!
A new car that was of course pressed to be the biggest and best that our payments would allow… which of course changed while the deal was being done… for some reason the desire for the biggest and best out weighed the amount that could truly be afforded. Now driving off in a car that required a bigger down payment then could be afforded and a payment you will have to work overtime for or something has to be sacrificed for … thrilled by the new car smell which makes it all seem worth the stretch.. but that will soon wear off when the next payment is due. That car does not smell as good when you have to actually and not in theory PAY for it, which the way they finance now is literally forever !!!!
Credit cards/ Debit Cards instead of being a convenient tool to maneuver through this ever changing world… are now utilized as limitless spending without the thought of the result !! IMMEDIATE GRATIFICATION has become the mantra. Only negotiating in our minds the minimum payment due … which is how we begin to think about everything in our lives !!
WE WANT IT FAST… EASY… HANDED TO US… AND WE WANT IT NOW !! Our minds have changed from OWE NO MAN ANYTHING BUT TO LOVE HIM …. to.. If I buy this NOW how much will that raise my monthly payment. As if there is no true understanding of the cost of anything anymore. Our value system has been reduced to a mental negotiation of ..I want everything now and will pay the least I can for it !! Not realizing the true cost of the item being purchased !! Our math is simple.. take something that costs a lot and knock down the true cost in our minds until we are comfortable with the piece of it we are willing to bite off at a time. This is such a deception… we have, as a society , begun to not look at the TRUE COST of a thing… we have been trained to think in terms of minimum payments!!
We see this in every form of advertising .. “ You can have …. for a payment of only !! It might actually mention the true cost but we don’t even hear that anymore… and if we do hear it most of us don’t care !! It is not even in our thought process… all we are thinking about is how we can have this item now for this small payment. What most do not understand is that the payment systems are worked so that a credit card, if the minimum payment is made, will take between 30 years and 42 years to pay off depending on the terms. We are going to be driving our cars with the huge payments until the car is worth far less than the now value of the car.. which we will get bored with in a 2 to 3 years tops..and trade in …. only now being upside down in the value vs. the balance due on the car. So in our brilliance we trade our car for the new biggest and best .. and of course throw the difference between the value and the balance of our old car onto our new loan… now assuring we will never get out from under it !! WHY… because we have convinced ourselves we deserve to have the biggest and the best the world can offer …
WHY ? WE WANT IT FAST.. EASY.. HANDED TO US… AND WE WANT IT NOW !!
What has happened … WHY HAVE WE SOLD OUR LIVES FOR STUFF !! When did this happen and why do we continue !
THIS MINDSET IS SO INGRAINED IN OUR SOCIETY THAT THE FEW WHO DO NOT PARTICIPATE IN IT ARE CONSIDERED ODD.. RARE ! When we go to buy something and say cash.. people are usually taken back. A lot of the retail places actually act like it is an inconvenience for you to pay cash. I am not saying that no one should use cards !!… I am saying no one should use cards with the mindset I described earlier in this post !! It is like a drug addict … alcoholic… and every other additive behavior. It becomes ingrained in the way our thoughts are processed and doesn’t voluntarily leave. WE HAVE TO BE CHALLENGED TO CHANGE OUR MINDS AND BEHAVIOR !!.. REEVALUATE OURS LIVES AND DECIDE HOW WE WANT TO LIVE THE REST OF OUR LIVES… DO WE REALLY WANT TO BE OWNED BY EVERYTHING WE THOUGHT WE HAD TO HAVE… ISN’T THAT THE SAME LIFE OF THE SHARE CROPPERS …. EVER LABORING IN THE HOPE OF OWNING THE LAND ONLY TO FIND THEY COULD NEVER MAKE ENOUGH TO ACTUALLY MAKE IT HAPPEN.. ENSLAVED !!
THE DECK HAS BEEN STACKED… WE HAVE BEEN INUNDATED WITH THE LIES OF THE SUPPOSED AMERICAN DREAM…
YOU CANNOT TELL ME THE TRUE AMERICAN DREAM.. IS TO BE IN SUCH HOCK OF OUR LIVES THAT THERE IS NO TRUE… PEACE… JOY… AND MY GOD TIME !! FOR WHAT IS TRULY IMPORTANT IN LIFE !!
The reason I write this is unfortunately this is the norm for the American Churches of today. We have become a people of never wanting to look at the true cost of a thing!! We want to be saved from hell.. but want to pay the smallest and the least payments we can to get it. We expect God to work in the same manner as this corrupted system !! Instead of our minds being renewed to GOD’S SYSTEM. We live..pray.. and get mad if God does not submit to our system.
WE TELL HIM HOW .. WHEN .. AND HOW MUCH .. WHY WE CAN’T.. WHY WE WON’T … AND WHY HE IS GOING TO UNDERSTAND OUR COMPLETE LACK OF RESPECT OF HIM.. HIS WAYS.. AND HIS WORD.. WE GIVE HIM ULTIMATUMS..AND WHEN HE DOES NOT JUMP THROUGH OUR HOOPS… WE DO THINGS OUR OWN WAY… TO PLEASE SELF..
TO MAKE THINGS CONVENIENT AND EASIEST ON US… TO NOT WAIT FOR HIM.. TAKE THINGS FOR OURSELVES AND TELL HIM TO PAY FOR IT… MAKE THINGS BE OUR WAY AND THEN TELL HIM TO BLESS IT… AND IF WE FEEL THE SLIGHTEST BIT OF CONVICTION WE PULL THE PREVERBAL GRACE CARD !!
..ACTING AS IF CONVICTION OF THE HOLY SPIRIT TO CHANGE A THING IS SOME TWISTED LIE OF THE DEVIL OR PREACHERS PREACHING FEAR !!… BECOMING RELIGIOUS LUKE WARM PEOPLE WHO LIVE IN MEDIOCRITY AND TALK ABOUT A GOD WE DO NOT TRULY KNOW BECAUSE IF WE DID WE WOULD LIVE A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT WAY….
THE BEGINNING OF WISDOM IS FEAR OF THE LORD!! .. THAT IS A LEVEL OF RESPECT THAT UNDERSTANDS THAT IT COMES WITH A RECOMPENSE IF NOT OBEYED !! …JESUS SAID … I WOULD RATHER YOU BE HOT OR COLD BUT LUKE WARM… I WILL VOMIT YOU OUT OF MY MOUTH… HOW IS ALL THAT FALSE GRACE DOING FOR YOU NOW !!
HIS GRACE SAVED US WHEN WE DIDN’T DESERVE IT… BUT NOW HIS GRACE GIVES US THE ABILITY TO CHANGE.. GROW.. LEARN OF HIM AND LIVE FOR HIM ALL OF OUR DAYS !! BRING HIM GLORY.
OUR CONFUSION HOWEVER IS THAT GOD DOES NOT NEGOTIATE !! You can pretend all day long you truly serve God but until His ways are your ways.. and your life is according to His Word and His Will for your life , you live in the deception of a systematic process, this is a LIE !!
HE HAS GIVEN US EVERYTHING TO BE FREE… BLESSED… IN ABUNDANCE… IN HEALTH.. HAVE TRUE JOY.. PEACE… THE LIST GOES ON AND ON…

We have to do it His way !!!……which for society and even most supposed Christians is not ever heard !! Due to our society of course not teaching Biblical Principals in anything anymore !! God has been removed from basically everything in our world.. and the few things we still allow Him to be in … we altar Him to fit what our culture has said to be true and right !!!

I HAVE HEARD SO MANY SAY THE GOSPEL IS FREE !!… I DO NOT AGREE !!! GIVING YOUR HEART TO GOD IS FREE BUT GIVING HIM YOUR LIFE…. THAT COST YOU EVERYTHING !!
JESUS DOES NOT WANT TO ONLY BE YOUR SAVIOR… (HE SAID HE CAME TO BE THE SAVIOR OF THE WORLD … YET THE WORLD IS NOT ALL SAVED ) HE ALSO CAME TO BE YOUR LORD !!
THAT MY FRIENDS IS A DIRTY WORD … EVEN IN MOST CHRISTIANS LIVES ! THE WORD LORD… MEANS HE HAS TOTAL SAY IN YOUR LIFE AND YOU WILLFULLY SUBMIT !
We are to come to Him and surrender our lives, will..everything.. repent (do a 180) of having “self” and every other thing be our God.. be washed in the blood of Jesus and our spirit have life breathed in us by the Holy Spirit of the living God ! That should happen at the moment we say YES to the living God !! Now that our spirits are alive unto God … our sins have been washed away by the blood of the lamb… and we have a whole new life to start …we are to embark on becoming what God had us born to be to begin with… and learning His will and His ways for our lives to now be walked out !! ( Renew your minds according to the Word of God) We do this by obeying… (another dirty word) by getting into a good church (God calls it His Body and His proper Government) that will teach, train, and equip you to run your race with joy !! How to fight the good fight.. pray … study.. worship …BASICALLY HOW TO APPLY THE WORD OF GOD TO YOUR LIFE !!
The unfortunate thing here is that the ways of God are contrary to the worlds system ! One of them is going to yield to the other !! We are either going to take our new life in Christ and learn.. grow.. increase … according to God …OR… we will negotiate the easiest way… the least we can do… or get frustrated because after the experience of Salvation… He makes you work for and earn the rest !!
WE DON’T LIKE IT !! So many rebel against the biblical guidelines He has spelled out in His Word.. using excuse after excuse why THEY DON’T. Disconnecting from anything that will hold them accountable to change… usually the first thing to go (if the true word of God is being preached) is of course the Church.. They find reasons why they shouldn’t have to… why this can’t be right… why the Pastor is so wrong…why they don’t have time… why they shouldn’t have to tithe… WHATEVER they can find to justify why they will not live the Word of God.
It is of course the norm to find something to blame.. because of course they couldn’t be wrong… so off to another church where the pastor is preaching what makes them comfortable… not makes them right !!.. God was clear about this when He said in the end times to beware of preachers who preach to your itching ears ( whatever you want to hear) they are definitely out there today ! Only then justifying the rebellion in the heart of the hearer that they were in fact right and God doesn’t expect that from them !! (whatever that was… which is different for everyone)
Woe to the preachers who preach about a God they do not know !!.. If they knew Him … they could not water down His gospel !!
And woe to those who profess Christianity but have disconnected and remain disconnected from the True Body of Christ.. Which is His local church .. for you to submit to a local pastor..not online !! .. No one can pastor a person online.. we can get good teaching but without accountability and involvement you are not part of the Body !!
If my little finger were cut off from my body and it remained disconnected is it still part of the body? No ! It resembles what is was created for but is useless in function due to the lack of it being connected to the thing that makes it functional… it can run around all day and say it is part of the body and some folks who don’t know any better might believe them due to lack of understanding… but the fact is IT IS NOT CONNECTED AND NOT PART OF THE BODY !!
IT IS USELESS TO THE FUNCTION OF THE BODY AND DOES NO ONE ANY GOOD EXCEPT CONFUSE THE LOST OR OTHERS WHO HAVE DISCONNECTED FROM GOD INTO THINKING … SELF WILL AND LACK OF SUBMITTING AND OBEYING GOD IS OK… THAT IF THEY DON’T LIKE SOMETHING THEY CAN GOVERN THEMSELVES… AND THAT SOME LAME EXCUSE OF WHY THEY DON’T BE A PART OF GOD’S ORDER… AND HAVE CREATED THEIR OWN… JUSTIFIES A DISCONNECTED LIFE OF SELF WILL BRINGING NO ONE TO THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE TRUE AND LIVING GOD !
… FURTHERING THE ISSUE WITH SPOUTING SCRIPTURES AND APPEARING RELIGIOUS TO JUSTIFY THEIR REBELLION.
GOD SAYS …. TO NOT DECEIVE YOURSELVES INTO THINKING YOU SUBMIT TO .. LOVE AND SERVE A GOD YOU CANNOT SEE… IF YOU CANNOT … SUBMIT TO… LOVE AND SERVE THE PASTOR HE HAS PUT OVER YOUR LIFE!!
THERE IS A WHOLE CULTURE OF SELF PROCLAIMED CHRISTIANS WHO REFUSE TO SUBMIT TO GOD’S WORD… SELF GOVERNED PEOPLE WHO ARE DECEIVED AND DECEIVE OTHERS THAT GOD WILL REWRITE HIS WORD TO FIT THEIR LACK OF SUBMISSION OR AN EXPERIENCE THEY REFUSE TO GET PAST THAT TOOK THEM OUT OF THE HOUSE OF GOD.
IF THESE PEOPLE TRULY HEARD FROM GOD HE WOULD DIRECT THEM TO A CHURCH TO BECOME PART OF HIS BODY !! NOT REMAIN A RENEGADE THAT DOES NOT BUILD THE BODY…. TO WHAT END DO THESE PEOPLE SHARE GOD… TO CREATE WHOLE CULTURES OF INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE SELF WILLED.. CREATING MORE SELF WILLED PEOPLE AND NOT BUILDING ANYTHING THAT IS LASTING OR HELPING OTHERS TO LIVE FOR GOD.
IF GOD DID NOT THINK THEY NEEDED IT WHY DID HE CREATE IT… ESTABLISH IT… AND OVER AND OVER INSTRUCT ABOUT IT IN HIS WORD. SELF DECEIVED PEOPLE … DECEIVING OTHERS !
So due to this culture of people who have no transformation in their lives… the preachers (not all.. but most) have watered down the truth with the deceptive thought it is better than nothing.. what about LUKE WARM AND I WILL VOMIT YOU OUT OF MY MOUTH !
SELF DECEIVED PREACHERS WHO PREACH THIS FALSE VERSION SIMPLY BECAUSE THEY THEMSELVES WILL NOT LIVE THE TRUTH OR THEY HAVE DECEIVED THEMSELVES INTO THINKING “SEEKER FRIENDLY” IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN “PLEASING GOD.”
So most preachers today will preach what people want to hear to fill their churches and the money cauffers.. They preach a God of Easy… Convenient… Casual.. what ever fits your budget of time and money God !!
This is not the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ…. Who ever keeps their lives will loose it and who ever looses their life for me will have eternal life !!
We don’t have to die for Him … He died for us… My God He is just looking for someone who will LIVE FOR HIM !! .. we are not our own we have been bought with a price… it is no longer I who live but Christ who lives inside of me.. and the life I now live I live according to the Son of God .. not everyone who says to me Lord Lord will enter the kingdom of heaven.. but those who do the will of my Father !!!!… for many will say to me in that day….(day of judgement…you can preach all the grace messages you want but there are also the messages of what happens when you live a lie and not the true gospel..) have I not done ALL this in your name and I will say to them in that day depart from me you doers of iniquity (self willed.. self governed) I NEVER KNEW YOU !!
Going to an altar and crying out to the living God is not the Salvation experience…. IT IS THE BEGINNING OF IT… TRUE SALVATION IS WALKED OUT DAILY !! …. you are to bring yourself before God daily as a living sacrifice… holy and acceptable unto God… which is our reasonable service (the least we can do ) …. which in most cases is not even what we feel like we have to do… we believe the lies of mediocrity and complacency… that somehow God is OK with our lifestyles of negotiated obedience to what is comfortable and convenient for us !!
OH MY GOD PREACHERS !!!…. PREACH THE WORD OF GOD OR GET OUT OF THE PULPITS !! YOU ARE GOING TO BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE BEFORE GOD FOR THE TWISTED TEACHINGS OF SUPPOSED GRACE !!
BUT WE ALL FALL SHORT … BUT HE KNOWS MY HEART… THIS IS CRAP AT IT’S BEST !!!
Yes, we all fall short that is why He has come to begin with … But we are to live for Him… in His Word and His Presence.. and CHANGE !! From Glory to Glory … Line upon Line and precept upon precept …our lives should be lived around Him… not telling Him how He is to live around ours…or even better pretending that that is grace !!
Grace is for those who need it.. when we do fall short he is faithful and just to forgive us…. but it is not to be our lifestyle !!!
He says not to use grace as an excuse to sin !!..
PREMEDITATED SIN OR THE REFUSAL TO CHANGE WHAT YOU KNOW IS NOT RIGHT FOR ANY REASON IS THE SAME THING !!

We think it is easier to get forgiveness than permission … BECAUSE WE WANT WHAT WE WANT … WHEN WE WANT IT !!!
We have been trained to think like this….. SO DEAR GOD….. CHANGE YOUR MIND.. put on the mind of Christ !

PROOF YOU ARE HIS ..IS THAT YOU DO HIS WILL AND BEAR HIS FRUIT !!
SO BEAR FRUIT !… CUT BACK THE AREAS YOUR FLESH AND SOUL HAS DECIDED VOID OF GOD AND HIS WORD AND BARE MUCH FRUIT !
