I consider AVERAGE in the same category as LAZY…..

YOU ARE CALLED TO BE GREAT….YOU DECIDE TO BE AVERAGE !!!

This word describes those who have thoughts like…that’s good enough !!

That makes my hair stand up on the back of my neck !!!

What do you mean that’s good enough!!

Why would anyone sell themselves or God short with that kind of a mindset !!

Are you serious.. people who have this outlook on life first of all only apply that rule to themselves when they don’t want to pay the price to have the character, tenacity, endurance, strength, excellence, abundance, or integrity to do a thing RIGHT !! Finish a race…complete a goal…. go all the way…decide to win!!

“…I do not count myself to have already apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead,

I PRESS TOWARD THE GOAL or MARK..  FOR THE PRIZE  of the upward  or high calling of God in Christ Jesus.”

One really big hint here…. FORGETTING THOSE THINGS WHICH ARE BEHIND… AND…. wait for it…………..REACH FOR WHAT IS AHEAD !!!

The dirty word here is PRESS !  The forgetting what is behind and reaching for what is ahead is a soulish decision… but the word PRESS REQUIRES ALL !!!

I ask people all the time when they are wanting to know how to obtain a thing in their life.. in their careers… family…relationship…anything!!…. I always ask ….HOW BAD DO YOU WANT IT !!   Let me tell you something … their answer tells me everything, I know in minutes if they are really serious or just talking !!  If you are not willing to finish what you start no matter what….stop talking and go sit down!!!  You have already quit…by not deciding to WIN !! You have to plan to win before you start and never change your mind !!

If God be for you what can tell you no !!!

You were called to be GREAT !!! God has given us everything we need to obtain. ( His Son, His Word, His Name, His Spirit, His Power, His Authority, His Angels…are you getting the theme here… His … they don’t come with our limitations.. I can do all things through Christ who gives me the strength !!!)

But to be great you must PRESS !!  Get off your heals ( I am going to use heals here not to offend someone by what I am really thinking ) a  defensive position.. never moves forward… and lean your weight forward ..an offensive position ….then PRESS…RUN….OBTAIN…. WIN !!!

Quit looking back and making excuses why you won’t and look forward to what is possible tomorrow !!

AVERAGE IS YOUR ENEMY…. It will always keep you far below the life you were born to live !!!

DECIDE TO BE GREAT …… AND GO FOR IT !!!
