It’s not what comes at you…it’s what you do with it!

These days life is coming at us at such an aggressive pace it is almost unfathomable to believe it will ever level out. Our nation and our world in crisis! If we are not hearing about how everything will fall apart if we don’t react immediately we are hearing about how our quick reaction has now put us in a debt that our grandchildren cannot recover! Finding that all of our Congress and Senate were so driven to solve the problem they never even read the supposed solution. All of them have admitted that none of them even read what they had passed ,they all read their portion only!! With the leaders of our country screaming Sign It or it is complete devastation!! I wonder what is worse… the problem..or the supposed solution.
This reaction unfortunately is too often our position to life altering situations. Something comes at us hard and fast and instead of taking the time to stop!! We simply react! There are 2 ways to handle a hard situation. 1 and unfortunately the most popular…..REACT and the other is a Proactive solution. When we quickly react, the situation has all the control ,which causes more fear and is never a proper evaluation. One of the worst things we can do is to quickly respond without the full picture. When fear grips you panic follows and everything is distorted in panic and fear. Our emotions are raging and anytime we make a life altering decision based on emotions we have used the lowest level of evaluation to decide and are rarely ever right. Have you ever noticed that at night the fear gets the worse. I have laid there in my bed before for hours worrying about something only to find the next morning it might be bad but not that bad! The reason things don’t seem quite as bad in the morning is we have let our emotions calm down and have had time to process the full picture!! When the problem seems like there is no solution you simply have not looked at all the possibilities of resolve. The answer is out there you simply have not yet found it. You need to step back, breath, look at the full picture(good and bad)call it what it is and begin a plan to resolve. We would like to think all things can be fixed in a minute but many times it is a process.
So more later on how to walk it out but I just wanted to encourage you with this………..
IT IS NOT WHAT COMES AT YOU ……….ITS WHAT YOU DO WITH IT!!
